The manufacture of packaging products are undertaken by Aik Joo Can Factory Sdn Bhd (“Aik Joo”) and Canzo Sdn Bhd (“Canzo”).
Aik Joo which was incorporated in Malaysia on 1 November 1957, started as a tin can manufacturer supplying small quantity of cans such as plain biscuit cans and kerosene cans mainly to retail business. Since 1968, with its first factory in Mak Mandin, Butterworth, Aik Joo now has 12 factories, all strategically located in the Northern, Central and Southern regions of Peninsular Malaysia in close proximity to its customers.
Canzo which was incorporated in Malaysia on 9 October 2003, is principally involved in the manufacture of plastic jerry cans (“JC”). Starting with 2 JC lines at the end of 2003, Aik Joo and Canzo now have 50 lines running at full capacity to meet customers’ demands.
Since 2008, we have added a new product, bag-in-box, to the range of packaging products that we can offer.
With a handful of staff in the 1950s, this division now employs about 850 people.
The ISO 9001:2000 certifications that our manufacturing facilities have attained from BM Trada Certification Ltd are testimony of our commitment in providing quality packaging products to our customers.
